I was approaced on Twitter by a lovely girl that I met at a blogger networking event at my local bookstore about participating in a blog tour for this book. I’ve never read any sort of anthology prior to this, so I was somewhat apprehensive about reading it, as I didn’t really know what to expect. But it was about Christmas and it helps the homeless charity Crisis, so I thought why not.
I can you now though, I think anthologies are my new thing! Every story or poem in this book was so heartwarming and lovely and really got in touch with what Christmas was really about – spending time with your loves one and that in itself is just truly wonderful. I find, in these modern times, the real meaning of Christmas has been lost in all the superficiality of it and gift giving. But for me, spending time with my family and seeing their faces light up on Christmas morning from the few, but meaningful gifts you get them, is what truly makes my Christmas.

This book perfectly captures everything that is good about Christmas, whether that be someone finally realising how much someone cares for them or actually pinpointing what makes Christmas, Christmas – it fills your heart with so much love and it’s just a wonderful book to read in this festive season. All the writers are wonderful with each story being more unique than the other with brilliant writing that doesn’t require too much effort to read. If you’re looking for a festive read this Christmas to fill heat your insides from the cold outside, I was 100% reccommend this book and it is truly magical!

I hope you all have a wonderful time this holiday season!
